- What's On
At City Hope we want to proclaim the good news of Jesus to people in our city and beyond.
Our aim as a church is to reflect the cultural diversity of London. Coupled with that, we have a vision to impact the nations and to be impacted by ministries from other parts of the world.
We want to see people empowered to be effective ambassadors for Christ. We aspire to equip and encourage people to be involved in planting churches overseas as well as in this nation, to be missionaries in their context. Whether people go or stay, we want to be a ‘sent’ people, a people on a mission.
In recent years City Hope have formed links and established working relationships with churches in North Africa, Nigeria, Ghana, Serbia, Ukraine, Niger, Guinea, Dubai and Sweden
It is a great privilege to be involved with so many different nations and we learn a great deal from them which in turn helps us as we look to build a genuinely diverse church here in London.
Much of our work overseas is carried out by Dave and Lesley Nunn who have been key staff members for many years at City Hope. Their main role is to work with church leaders and church planters, often on behalf of the Catalyst network of churches (part of newfrontiers).
We also encourage and support other members of City Hope, to get involved with overseas work either with Catalyst or other organisations.
If you are a church member and would like to know more about our global work and how you could get involved, either through prayer or travelling yourself, please contact the church office.
We are active in making Jesus known to those around us and those further afield. City Hope core values
