Foodbank is open as usual on Wednesdays 1-3pm. In order to receive an emergency food parcel, you will need a voucher from a referral agency. The Southwark Foodbank is open on other days at other venues. Ring 020 7732 0007 for information.
13 million people live below the poverty line in the UK. Every day people in the UK go hungry for reasons ranging from redundancy to receiving an unexpected bill on a low income.

Trussell Trust foodbanks provide a minimum of three days emergency food and support to people experiencing crisis in the UK. Rising food and fuel prices, static incomes, under-employment and changes to benefits are some of the reasons why increasing numbers are being referred to foodbanks for emergency food.

Our Foodbank

Foodbank at City Hope runs as part of a network across the borough with Southwark Foodbank hosted by Pecan.

City Hope Foodbank is open every Wednesday, 1.00pm-3.00pm.

Foodbank provides nutritionally balanced emergency food for local people in need. Our clients are referred by a number of local agencies and organisations.

Food is donated by Church members, local people and businesses.

Donations of food can be brought to City Hope church, Drummond Road, during normal business hours.

For information on how to be referred to receive food, or how to volunteer or donate, visit the Southwark foodbank page on the Pecan website.
